Having the buffalo sauce served on the side with a bed of fresh lettuce was a thoughtful touch, ensuring the crunch stayed intact until the very last bite. The momentum only picked up with the mains. The Mixed Mushroom pizza is clearly a house specialty, benefiting from that unmistakable brick-oven char and high-quality ingredients. While the mushrooms were earthy and fresh, it was the truffle oil drizzle that really kicked the flavor profile into another gear. Even the fried chicken sandwich impressed; it was a substantial meal served with a generous portion of salad that felt like a proper, balanced accompaniment rather than a plate filler. However, the absolute show-stealer of the evening was the Chicken Meatballs served with crispy polenta. To put it bluntly: it blew my mind. The contrast between the tender meatballs and the crunch of the polenta created a dish that was both sophisticated and deeply comforting.
