"We were in town for the weekend and had a memorable dinner here. The amazing team was extremely warm and welcoming from first contact to the end of the meal. We brought our pup along with us and we never felt out of place! The food was also a highlight! We tried the polenta mushroom bites, it was full of flavor and texture (solid exterior and creamy interior). The wine country bruschetta was refreshing and you could tasted the high quality ingredients. The kale and duck confit salad had a hint of asian flavors. We should’ve ordered a second. To finish the meal, we shared the heritage pork and beef bolognese. The sauce had a wonderful balance and was not too acidic. In addition to great food, they also take care of their employees. They have a tip free menu, revenue share, 401k, insurance and paid time off! They should be applauded for this! Next time we are in Calistoga we’ll definitely have to visit Lovina again."
